TMZ is reporting that one of Hollywood’s seemingly inseparable couples is calling it quits.
Danny DeVito and Rhea Perlman have decided to separate after 30 years of marriage.
The couple married back on Jan. 28, 1982, after living together for 11 years, but started dating in 1970.
The 5’1″ Perlman met DeVito (5’0″) in 1970 when she attended an off-Broadway play, The Shrinking Bride, which DeVito was starring in. They were already a couple when Perlman landed one of her first notable roles as Zena, the girlfriend of DeVito’s character Louis DePalma on Taxi, before she shot to fame as sarcastic waitress Carla Tortelli on Cheers.
They have 3 children together, 29-year-old Lucy, 27-year-old Grace and 25-year-old Jacob.
